I’m so pleased to announce the release of FreeFall, Backworlds Book 7!
The first shot of a new war echoes through the galaxy. Craze has high hopes for what the alliance with an old enemy, the Foreworlds, will do to defeat a worse enemy, the Quassers.
The test of a highly-advanced weapon, created by the efforts of the alliance, pushes tensions over the brink, which kills thousands. To make it worse, the Foreworld ambassador is keeping secrets.
Conventional warfare against the Quassers isn’t working, and if the alliance ends, Craze has become the most hated man in the galaxy for nothing.
With nothing left to lose, Craze sets in motion one last chance for survival.
Death doesn’t always mean literal death. There are other ways to die.
The person we are is in constant change. The person I was at 17 is different than the person I am now. My 17 year-old self was fearless. My current self is more cautious, but still willing to take leaps and risks. Both are tenacious.
A person can lose everything that means anything and reinvent themselves. We may lose people we love, relationships, our sense of self, our confidence, our goals may change, what’s important may change, and we can lose our beliefs.
As we face challenges, the person we were dies to make way for the person we are now. How we choose to go forward does not make us a success or a failure. There is no failure. We just change.
To move from existing to truly living once more, we have to embrace our new circumstances and new selves.
My heroes face life-altering challenges in FreeFall. They have to decide how they will change and who they will be.
This book was a true pleasure to write and my best yet. Enjoy!
