Hyperdrive orginally aired in 2006 and 2007 on the BBC. I’ve enjoyed it on Netflix. It’s silly, it’s not something I have to think about and it makes me laugh. So, it’s great entertainment. After a long day, it’s nice to unwind for 25 minutes with something light and not serious. I’m mostly disappointed that the two seasons only produced twelve episodes. And Netflix has season two out of order. Be forewarned.
From IMDb: A sci-fi British comedy about the adventures of Her Majesty’s Ship Camden Lock in the year 2151. It’s mission: to convince alien governments to relocate their businesses to Britain. The odd crew is a bunch of good-to-nothing led by the equally useless but means well Commander Henderson. Written by Dror Birkman <firstname.lastname@example.org>
Think I’ll try Red Dwarf next.
