The Husband Unit and I enjoy getting off the beaten path and discovering remote places. A lot. We love picking a road and seeing where it takes us. This summer, we took a day trip down south, a direction we don’t go very often in Oregon. We decided that will have to change.
Like most of Oregon, the scenery is spectacular. With all the wild fires this summer, the views weren’t as awesome as they could have been, but they were still nice.
Rocky Point is located on Pelican Bay on Upper Klamath Lake. It’s a summer fishing resort and was once a logging community. Husband Unit and I thought it had a lot of charm.
