I’m trading blogs with the uber shiny Angela Brown today. She writes a wonderful, imaginative story chock full with surprises, just the way I like them.
Remnants of Father Quanon: Shhhhh!
Please, don’t be frightened. Yes, my body is that of the Devourer’s after what I did. There are times, I shamefully admit, I wish I’d passed the Christener to Basil and given him the honors of becoming the new master of hell. I envy his closeness with Abby, the time they get to spend together.
Yes, I wish it were me instead. And that thought frightens me.
Though not as frightening as what I failed to do. The Devourer rifled through my memories. I fought as best as I could in the abyss of his many minds, but he snagged information that will hang the future of mankind in the balance.
I know his plans. If I can just get it to the right people –
*cue the roaring fires of hell*
Q clears his throat: I don’t know what that flakey Father Quanon thought he had to share with you. There is nothing happening beyond the normal evil I’m allowed to wreak.
Move along. There’s nothing to see here.
In They All Fall Down, you can discover what plans the Devourer may or may not have in store for our world.
Abby and Basil: New love reaches new heights as they finally give in to their lust and desire for each other.
Q: Consumed by the Devourer within and his base need to claim Abby as his own.
The crave: What it all boils down to. A crave for souls. A crave to keep love intact beyond betrayals. A crave for a second chance. A crave for power and The Fall of mankind.
“Love can conquer all” is put to the test and salvation may be impossible when they all fall down.

Week in Review
My story, Omens and Lifesavers, placed 4th in a local writing contest. I missed third and winning money by one point. Curses to murgatroid! That’s the way the pen bounces sometimes. I read my story in front of a crowd next Friday.
My proof of Beyond the Edge showed up and is prettier in person than in digital. That means the paperback will be available shortly on Amazon.
I started writing this week and am trying to juggle three projects — Backworlds #5 – Worlds on Edge, a paranormal series, and a fantasy novel. I made out a schedule for when I settle back into the groove. For now, I switch between projects. The short stints help ease me back into writing mode. How do you settle back into writing after the long frenzy of editing, formatting, and promoting?
Now meet me at Angela’s where I reveal more about a character from the Backworlds.
I have flash interviews at Nicki Elson’s , Suze’s Subliminal Coffee, and Elizabeth Seckman’s today — burning questions you’ll want the answers to.
You’ll find an excerpt on Tyrean’s Writing Spot. And DG Hudson is conducting an interview with Captain Talos. HERE
And see the latest news on the Realms Faire. Looking for a fun way to promote yourself or your book? This will definitely be fun.
