Huzzah! Hetty Locklear! The Knights Battle to the Death and The Nightmare Collection

Huzzah, brave knights!

Lords and Ladies, Knaves and Wenches. The knights grow weary. Help them carry through to the end. Let me hear your cheers!

You may cheer for more than one knight. You may cheer up to three times a day.

Current standing: Ghost Knight 48, Knight Aidensdein and Knight of the Whispering Woods 34, Stormy Knight 29, Knight of Uber 26, Knight Light 24, Knight McSquee 23, Knight of the Fae Forest 21, Gibberish Knight of the Triangle Ottoman 16.

If you missed the rules: the knights score points by you cheering for them. One point for using the knight’s name (ie, Stormy Knight) and one point for using the knight’s special Renaissance word. Each day you cheer, your names gets put into the drawing to win a free ebook of The Renaissance of Hetty Locklear.

Did you hear Hetty Locklear was written for geek girls? Insecure? Weight and food issues? Hetty’s just like you.

A New Adult Urban Fantasy, The Renaissance of Hetty Locklear is the first book in a new series. And it’s now out! My main character, Hetty, is a twenty-two-year-old stumbling about in an effort to become a full-fledged adult. She struggles with self-esteem, weight, relationships, and making the transition between college and the real world.

Graduation from community college isn’t the magic elixir Hetty Locklear counts on for becoming an adult. Her parents, who work the Renaissance fair circuit, insist she spend part of the summer with them. Hetty doubts pretending to live in the Middle Ages will help her find her way.

To make it worse, an entity haunts her at her dead-end job, warning her of a dangerous man she doesn’t know. The ghost leads her to a lover who has a lot of secrets. He pulls her farther into peril and into a strange, hidden world of genetic experimentation.

New Adult Urban Fantasy with a contemporary sci-fi twist. Mature content.

Available as an ebook at Amazon / Amazon UK / B&N / Smashwords / iTunes / Kobo

  1. Best wishes to Cherie on her release! Gosh she has been a busy girl!
I hear I have been challenged by the Stormy Knight and have tagged her with a meme which she has been invited to post on my site, once she is prepared!

    Mary this is such fun!

    Knight Aidensdein! Huzzah!

  2. Congrats to Cherie!

Though ere I chose Knight Aidensdein to please my poppet, methinks the great Stormy Knight may suffer from my neglect, howbeit wherefore tis true, only Stormy knows. Hark, the Ghost Knight bested heretofore but anon methinks will hear your gardyloo.

  3. Lady Pax, I bow to thee today before yon jousting begins. I see Lady Reich by thine side and bid her a fond congratulations for her book. Here, Lady Reich, do take this dethorned rose as a symbol of this knight’s wishes of continued success with your publications.

To my fellow knights, Huzzah! Let the battles away!!!

  4. Hark Knight Aidensdein! My lance shall help you off your horse.

Ghost Knight and Stormy Knight, pray tell, will ye join me at the tavern after where we can s’wound Knight Mcsquee, Knight light, and Gibberish Knight of the Trianglen Ottoman with the wherefores and forsooths of our jousting triumphs. We can show them out tosspotting and I’ll dance around the cutpurse who sullies me name. My dear Poppet believes me innocent! Prithee- come join the fun Knight of the Whispering Woods.

On the marrow, Hiccup- I fear my wings doth not work…
~ Knight of the Fae Forest.

  5. S’wounds, Knight of the Fae Forest. Wherefore doth thine wings not work? Shall I, Ghost Knight, conjure a wind to send thee afloat? Or is thine tavern visit catching up with thee? Stormy Knight, Knight Light, Gibberish Knight and Knight Aidensdein, prithee come as I join Knight of the Fae Forest in the revelry of dancing about cutpurses, removing the tosspots and shooing the innocent poppets back to their mothers’ skirts. This includes you Gibberish Knight of the Triangle Ottoman and Knight of the Whispering Woods :-)

  6. I am here for the Knight of Aidensdein! She just rubbed that poppet’s head for good luck!

And thank you so much, Mary, for being a part of my cover reveal, especially during your fantastic book launch and the knight tournament! You’re the best!

I think I’m always busy, Carolyn, but I hope to take a bit of a break during the holidays! Thank you, Laura! Lady Brown, I humbly accept your dethorned rose and well wishes. :D

  7. I bring hails of encouragement and a hearty lunch for Sir Allan, the Knight of Uber. Prithee may he survive the day’s battle.

  8. Knight Aidensdein it is a great pleasure to have you in the competition. Your talents are something to watch.

Yes, you many champion more than one knight, Lord Alex.

    Wise, wise words, Lady Laura

    Huzzah! Lady Ciara!

Welcome to the games, Lady Siv.

You are always the knight exemplar, Ghost Knight. The honor is all mine to have your great skill in these games.

    Welcome, Lord Joshua. Huzzah!

Knight of the Fae Forest you have such talents. I’m dazzled.

    Ditto Ghost Knight.

Oh, dear. Let’s put away the grog for awhile.

I am happy to share the wonder of the games, Lady Cherie.

Wonderful to see you back, Lady Leigh. A marvelous cheer.

  9. Wherefore the knights have turned into tosspots? Prithee, dear poppets, keep the cutpurses anon from them. Forsooth, stay away from the grog, and pray tell who will win the day? Hark! I hear the knights coming.

The games are now past the halfway point noble Ghost Knight, Knight Aidensdein, Knight of the Whispering Woods, Stormy Knight, Knight of Uber, Knight Light, Knight McSquee, Knight of the Fae Forest, and Gibberish Knight of the Triangle Ottoman.

  10. Yeh! I hark your words Ghost Knight and I do not tremble! I am here to save the poppets you intend to frighten and you should watch what you drink, you may just fall from thee horse you leave tied up at the rail all night while you squander and debauch! Huzzah!

  11. Forsooth the sun doth sink low. Prithee may the knights rest well, especially my favorite The Kinight of Uber.

  12. Huzzah, me Lady M…. Third place for The Knight of the Whispering Woods whilst not do! S’Wounds! Me efforts have gone in vain… I must try harder to be in thy favorable graces … Huzzah… I shall sharpen my lance…. HA! That shall work!

  13. What happened to my Knight McSquee? Methinks the old tosspot is drunk on the rot again and has fallen off her horse once more. Arise off thy arse brave Knight and meet thy opponent on the field! It’s not too late For McSquee to prevail!

  14. Aye, Stormy Knight is late afield today. Tis the fault of sickly Sir Com-Puter and s’truth, an overindulgence of grog after the joust yesterday. A wee dram under the weather, I am. Tis just as well, the lot of ye scoundrels, cutpurses, tosspots and poppets needed a rest to build yer strength for the onslaught to come. Anon, tis off to me bedchamber I go.

  15. Come and join us in the tent, Lady Joy. Wonderful to see you.

Cherie does have quite the talent, Michael.

    Bravo, forsooth, Lady Christine.

    Huzzah, Lord Maurice!

    Brave, brave Knight Aidendsdein. Huzzah!!

Tell Stormy Knight to beware of the kegs of grog, Lady Laura.

Lady Carol! Come join the party.

    Lord Alex cheers so jauntily.

What a charming hat ye wear today, Lord Michael.

There was an incident with grog this morning, Lady L. G.

Oh dear, Lady Laura! Knaves! Free Stormy Knight!

It is wonderful to see you freed and well, Stormy.

  16. Hark! It is I, once again, for the third time this day. I am here to support Stormy Knight. Wherefore art thou trembling knights who dare to go against her. I bid you all a fair evening.
