If you’re into astronomy things, the Perseids meteor shower is August 12th. Check the nets for best viewing time in your area. For the Pacific Northwest, it’s 3 a.m. Sunday morning. So, Saturday will be uber busy at the observatory this weekend.

I love meteor showers! I just hope we have some good weather here so we can see them. The last few have been either hazy or too much light from the moon. Thanks for sharing. I hope you have a spectacular view, too!

Guess I missed the meteor shower: fell asleep — not enough chocolate last night. I dozed off before Curiosity landed too. Must be getting old.
I can’t wait to see the shower. I’m ready for that.
It has been cloudy nearly every year during the Perseids here and tonight is no different. Rain, rain, rain! So atypical of the rest of the year but there you have it … Hope your viewing conditions are favorable.

oh, how’d the meteor shower go? It was horribly overcast here so I doubt I would’ve seen anything.
